ABOUT THE PIRATES
The Tarpon Springs Pirates are a not-for-profit adult amateur football team based out of the Tampa Bay area.
The Pirates were founded by Andy Villamarzo in 2009. The team, formerly known as the Anclote Pirates, Bay Area Pirates and Dunedin Pirates was a member of the National Independent Football League (NIFL) in 2010 then the United Football Federation of America (UFFOA) between 2011 and 2014. The Pirates became a member of the Florida Football Alliance (FFA) in 2017. Currently, the Pirates are in the FFA.
