ANCLOTE PIRATES ACCEPTED INTO THE FFA FOR 2017 SEASON

by Brian Stanton

STUART, FL- After over six hours of driving and going through a very organized FFA league meeting, the always agonizing vetting process happened in the latter end of the gathering on the east coast and the word was given to Anclote officials: Accepted.

The Pirates applied and were tentatively accepted as prospective members of the Florida Football Alliance for the 2017 season, according to team president Michael Rehkopf.

The long drive from Holiday, FL by Pirates’ representatives was made in order to receive word on the team application made before the July 25th deadline. Rehkopf spoke with league vice president Mark Trueblood and league chairman Chris McIntosh and was hit with many tough questions about the team’s operations heading into the 2017 FFA season. The Pirates were able to pass with flying colors and were accepted, along with seven other teams. Below is the full list of teams accepted into the FFA.
