DUNEDIN- The Florida Football Alliance’s deadline for all roster additions before the league mandated bye week came and gone on Sunday and the Dunedin Pirates made sure not to come out empty handed.

The Pirates added three players to the roster before everything was finalized, as offensive lineman Joshua Parsons, running back Braxton Johnson and wide receiver/running back Malik Cobb were all added at the deadline.

Parsons last played for the Pirates in 2017 season and played on both the offensive and defensive lines. Johnson last played in 2016 for Anclote High School and rushed for over 1,400 yards his junior season for the Sharks. Cobb played at Gulf High School under Jason Messamore and most recently saw time with the West Coast Soldiers of the Florida Champion Football League (FCFL).
