Dunedin hosts another successful OTA

SAFETY HARBOR- For the second straight voluntary OTA, the Dunedin Pirates hosted a very successful training session in which the team saw many new faces show up and show out.

“It was great to see so many players passionate about playing the game,” team president/wide receiver Andy Villamarzo said. “There’s so much talent out there right now and we still have more players inquiring about playing.”

From head coach Nate Barlow nearly losing his voice to the defense having a stellar session, the Pirates had one of their best OTAs in team history. Many familiar faces were back on the scene, including wide receiver Alex Jennings, defensive end Javaughn Johnson and linebacker Arseles Miller.

Among the new faces that showed out was wide receivers Manny Higgins, Aaron Garrett and cornerback Richard Benjamin. All three players stood out the most on both sides of the ball.
