MIAMI GARDENS- In one of the most exciting games in team history, Dunedin Pirates were able to pickup a historic win.

Facing off against the 7-time league champion Miami Magic City Bulls, short handed and down at halftime, the Pirates stormed back to defeat the Bulls 36-35 in double overtime at Monsignor Pace High School.

The Pirates (4-5) offense seemingly picked up where they left off against the Stingrays, with the team totaling 395 yards. Leading the way was once again quarterback Nate Munson, who threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns, adding 80 yards and a score.

He would be joined by Mareece ‘Rampage’ Sturgis, who rushed for 85 yards on 10 carries and wide receiver Michael Minges, who caught a game-high 10 passes for 122 yards. The team got a touchdown from Munson to receiver Biz Poole and the go-ahead 2-point conversion from Munson to Minges.
