DUNEDIN PLAYERS STAYING IN SHAPE DURING PANDEMIC

by Staff Writer

TARPON SPRINGS- It’s been tough for the Dunedin Pirates and most adult amateur football teams throughout the state of Florida during the coronavirus pandemic.

Since the Pirates’ last game against the Broward Bulldogs back in March, Dunedin has since seen the Florida Football Alliance’s season been canceled, along with the entire postseason and now the league has gone through a total transition itself.

The FFA is now the FFA 2.0, or now know as Football Federation Alliance, comprising of the 13 teams to finish off the FFA’s 2020 season. With the Pirates firmly entrenched to the FFA 2.0, Dunedin head coach Nate Barlow has wasted no time in keeping guys together.

The Pirates have had a handful of workouts over in Tarpon Springs and Holiday areas and returners and new players have come on out to remain in shape. For more information on playing for the Pirates in 2021, register at www.dunedinpirates.com/registration.
