PIRATES DECIDE ON HELMET LOOK FOR 2017

HOLIDAY- The Anclote Pirates’ staff put together a voting system for the players to decide which helmet look they’d like to go with for the 2017 season and the voices have spoken: Flat black and black facemask.

The Pirates wanted to go with a more simpler look than compared to in past seasons. In 2010 and 2011, the Pirates went simply with black helmets with decals on the sides. In 2012, the Pirates went with a silver look and nifty decals on the sides of the helmet. 2013 and 2014, the Pirates introduced carbon fiber helmets, which became popular amongst numerous players.

Now with the decision of the team’s uniforms and helmet look, the overall uniform is started to take shape and now the club is just awaiting a time and date into when uniforms may be ordered.
