Player interest for Dunedin peaks as off-season continues

by Staff Writer

DUNEDIN- Though the 2021 season has long been over with, the Dunedin Pirates have been receiving an influx of player interest ranging far and wide throughout the Tampa Bay areas.

Team president Andy Villamarzo and head coach Scott Fisk have been steadily getting player inquiries, as the off-season continues for the organization. Dunedin will be back at Dunedin High School for home games, per Villamarzo from school officials.

The Pirates last season played all their home games in St. Petersburg, FL. Now Dunedin faces the task of keeping up with the winning success from 2021 and the team plans to have some announcements in the coming days with coordinators and position coaches.
