Tarpon Springs cruises to blowout win over SouthSide Bulldogs

TARPON SPRINGS- Coming off an emotional victory over the Lakeland Jokers in the EAFL’s season opening slate of games, Tarpon Springs continued their winning ways against SouthSide Bulldogs.

In the Pirates’ home opener at Spongers Field, Tarpon Springs rolled to a 48-0 victory over the Bulldogs to improve to 2-0 on the season.

It would end up being an all around effort by the Pirates on both sides of the ball. Tarpon Springs quarterback Nate Munson had himself an effective evening, completing 11-of-16 passes for 126 yards, two touchdowns and rushed additionally for 76 and adding another score.

Tarpon Springs wide receiver Cyle Kurina was highly efficient with his targets, catching two passes for 63 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.
