TEAM WORKOUTS CONTINUE AS INTEREST GROWS

HOLIDAY- The Anclote Pirates have been steadily holding voluntary workouts and the numbers and interest from players across the Tampa Bay area has steadily grown.

Pirates’ officials have fielded calls and messages from former Anclote members to former local prep standouts. Anclote’s management team has been pleased with the number of different faces that have attended, and though no official practices have been held, things are looking up for the first-time FFA member.

Anclote officials believe they’ll likely be an division with local area teams like the Tampa Bay Patriots and Southwest Florida Gladiators. Also likely to be in the same division would be the Ocala Panthers, who are coming off winning a league championship in the Universal Football League earlier this year. With so much competition all around the FFA, all members of the Pirates are starting to realize the time to get going is getting closer and closer.
